Merger proposal
[edit]I propose to merge World News Tonight (British TV series) into World News Tonight (Sky TV). They are duplicates of each other and contain much of the same information. Tvcameraop (talk) 20:32, 5 April 2020 (UTC)

World News Tonight (TV series) → Sky World News Tonight – Because we also have an existing article on the American TV series ABC World News Tonight, the title "World News Tonight (TV series)" should instead be made as a redirect from incomplete disambiguation to the World News Tonight dab page. - Move to World News Tonight (UK TV series) - I've added two refs to this article, and during my search, I've found no usage of "Sky World News Tonight". Better disambiguation is needed, but we should use the country of origin. -- Netoholic @ 09:23, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
Article accuracy
[edit]Hi, I this article has some inaccuracies. I watch this programme and have no recollection of it ever being presented by James Rubin. It was launched by and presented by mostly Scott Chisholm and Alison Holloway. See https://tvark.org/sky-world-news-tonight-1
theer is no reference explaining the James Rubin connection Glennelliott1972 (talk) 15:14, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
Also, this programme starts and was broadcast somewhere around 1990. Maybe it came back on the dates that are stated in the article, but you can see three video clips on TV Ark showing it broadcast in 1990 https://tvark.org/sky-world-news-tonight-5 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Glennelliott1972 (talk • contribs) 15:17, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
This link which I accept is a blog and not a proper source states that Sky World News Tonight broadcasted for five years from 1998 https://www.tvforum.co.uk/thenewsroom/scott-chisholm-18665 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Glennelliott1972 (talk • contribs) 15:23, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
