Charles the Simple?
[edit]I removed this:
This is in contrast with the Catalan counts of actual Spain, who kept dating events from Hugh Capet predecessor Charles the Simple, (deposed in 922, died in prison october 929). Hugh Capet was grandson of the Frankish king or rather "Dux Francorum", known today as Robert I of France, ((August 15, 866 – June 15, 923), one of the rebellious magnates of king Charles the Simple.
Is it saying that the counts of Catalonia continued to date their charters by Charles the Simple even into the late 900s? If so, it needs a source. Srnec (talk) 21:52, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
