Title?
[edit]I'm not convinced that the current article title is the best. I wonder if an alternative might be more useful:
- William McIntyre (Author) or
- Willie McIntyre
The second is how the subject's name is occasionally presented, presumably as a customary name in general use, and the first addresses notability. I am sure he is an excellent lawyer but we don't have biographical articles on every excellent author. Crime novelists with a long publication history and a series totalling thirteen novels, on the other hand… --Pete (talk) 22:05, 24 July 2023 (UTC)

William H S McIntyre → William McIntyre (novelist) – He does not publish under a name with initials (but he's not the only person by this name who could be considered a writer/author, but he is the only novelist among them). If this were not moved to William McIntyre (novelist), then it would need to move to William H. S. McIntyre, per MOS:INITIALS. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 12:29, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
