Start - Solid start class. Needs an infobox, change section titles and add some (the article is a biography so redundent section) perhaps "early life" "military career" "political career" "later life" for example. Then tie references into article using footnotes. Add a little more about the person and it would be a B class article. Aboutmovies21:49, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Naming conventions, William Gilpin (territorial governor), as the other 5 Colorado Territory governors.
In working the Colorado Territory governors, (Governors of the Colorado Territory), One notices the menage of naming article titles would facilitate structure efficiently. The Notability of Territorial Governors demands the respect and honor of such persons to be recognized by their Proper names and titles. This observation posted here goes out to all the Project leaders. Kind regards, Paptilian, PpT'lln , (P. sig'd ).. 17:51, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
He was famously converted by his wife to Catholicism, but neither his marriage nor his religion is mentioned in the article. Might be good to add. natemup (talk) 16:56, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
