Gov. Willard Preble Hall- Republican or Democrat

The article on this Governor has conflicting information. Under personal at least his political party as republican. Other parts of the article list him as democrat. Some history books say that Governor Hall and President Lincoln (Republican/Union) were friends.

Saint Joseph Missouri had both supports of slave and non-slave owners.  Can anyone help me determine what political party Hall represented? 52.144.115.84 (talk) 04:26, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
