[edit]This is not spam - it is an informative article that will list all of the non-profit organizations helping to provide wheelchairs to those in need.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mrn3 (talk • contribs) 22:19, 29 November 2006 (UTC).
Legit Organizations
[edit]This page is not for self-promotion or advertising. It is simply placed here as a service to people seeking organizations that donate wheelchairs or accept donations of wheelchair equipment. There is a void of a master list of this sort.
If this doesn't qualify as an encyclopedia entry, I don't know what does. What benefits humanity more, an article about Marilyn Manson or Jay-Z, or a list of organizations that can provide wheelchairs to people in need?

- The benefit toward humanity of an article is irrelevant towards its inclusion. Veinor (ヴエノル(talk)) 23:02, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Eh... could probably just turn this into a category. I see the usefulness as a category, just question if it needs to be an article of its own. --The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake 22:58, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
- I just made that suggestion on the author's talkpage. Veinor (ヴエノル(talk)) 23:02, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
list of organizations
[edit]Wouldn't a list of wheelchair organizations be factual, just like a List of Current NBA Team Rosters or List of agricultural organizations? I fail to understand how this is different.
