Deletion Of Important Information
[edit]Details of the theatre's writers in residence have been deleted as vandalism?
Why?
http://www.wyplayhouse.com/content/writing/writers_in_residence.asp
Please take a look at the website, Betacommand. They too come from the website.
Please restore the information. It is not "vandalism" nor "spam", as the West Yorkshire Playhouse is a new writing theatre, which produces its own shows. A list of the contracted writers in residence, ticketing discounts, and the adult education schemes available, IS NECESSARY INFORMATION.
This is after all an expandable stub, is it not?

Work needed
[edit]This article was pretty much entirely rewritten on 3 November 2022 by an unregistered editor stating that they are a Leeds Playhouse employee. Althiugh it's on my watchlist I was on holiday at the time and didn't spot it. There are major problems:
- An editor with WP:COI should not edit the article but should make comments on the talk page to suggest improvements, providing sources.
- The article is, as a result, promotional
- Most of the content of the article is now unsourced
- The editor used bold repeatedly to highlight names etc, not just for the proper uses (target of incoming redirect etc) as in MOS:BOLD.
Other editors have worked on the article since, or I would have reverted that major, COI, edit. The article now needs a lot of work. PamD 05:27, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
- Correction: the entire article is now unsourced. PamD 05:41, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
- On second thoughts, I have reverted to the referenced and properly formated version. If the LPH PR dept wants to suggest changes, here on the talk page, please do so, with reliable independent published sources. Note also that anyone editing as part of their employment MUST declare this, see WP:PAID. I supported the Playhouse since its days on campus, until moving away from the city, but this is an encyclopedia, not a marketing site. PamD 05:50, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
