Re-Organisation of Article
[edit]I was looking at the possibility of creating subpages for each year and including the nominees as well as the award winners - similar to the ARIA pages. I was also considering including details on the WAM song of the year and the Kiss my WAMi releases for each year as well. Any suggestions/thoughts are welcome Dan arndt 07:11, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Better a big list perhaps - look at the recent new cyclone list - List of Wa Cyclones - in that format you can list the winners in a box, and as the articles grow they move into links... bit like what we are doing with cyclones - as there only about three articles there. Raname?
[edit]Would this be better called West Australian Music Industry Awards or perhaps West Australian Music Industry Association. If kept as West Australian Music Industry capitalisation needs to be fixed, to: West Australian music industry.
My preference is West Australian Music Industry Awards which is mostly what the article talks about. —Moondyne 03:13, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
- I don't have a problem renaming this page to West Australian Music Industry awards - as the article's creator. I was actually thinking about creating a page for the West Australian Music Industry and separate pages for WAM 'Song of the Year' etc. Only issue is that there is a huge number of other articles that I have linked to this article & I don't really feel like going back and doing all those changes Dan arndt 09:37, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks Dan. Existing links are easily managed with redirects and a bit of WP:AWB. Seeing you don't object, I'll move it. —Moondyne 13:55, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:WAM logo.gif
[edit]Image:WAM logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
