Do sources exist?

[edit]

@Another Believer:, are there independent reliable sources that could support this article's notability? If not, the sooner it's merged with Tilikum Crossing the better. -Pete (talk) 22:17, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Here are a few more sources, which I will try to incorporate into the article soon:

Thanks for moving these over to the article, Pete. I reduced the number of ELs and formatted them a bit better. Still hope to expand this article at some point, but given your trim, perhaps you will beat me to the punch? ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:26, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. I'm not planning to work more on this article, but its lack of reference to RS's seemed worth addressing in the short term. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. -Pete (talk) 18:41, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Since it's now lost in the article's edit history, here are the fully formatted versions of your sources (except the Facebook one):
  • "Bridging cultures: Tribe gifts artwork to TriMet's Tilikum Crossing". The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde.
  • "Chinuk sculptures installed at Tilikum Crossing". KOIN.com.
  • "Dedication ceremony for artwork at Tilikum Crossing (Photos)". OregonLive.com.
  • "Tilikum Crossing, Bridge of the People". Pendleton Woolen Mills.
  • Jule Gilfillan. "Wood Carver Greg A. Robinson". opb.org.
  • FOX 12 Staff (18 April 2015). "Portland's Tilikum Crossing has new artwork". kptv.com.{{cite web}}: CS1 maint: numeric names: authors list (link)
  • "Grand Ronde gifts unique artwork to TriMet, the community". TriMet News.
  • "Grand Ronde gifts artwork to TriMet for Tilikum Crossing". OregonLive.com.
Thanks, Pete. ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:43, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've done what I can before going on vacation, but I hope to return to this project soon. At least the article is no longer a stub. ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:09, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Categories based on depiction of "Morning Star"?

[edit]

According to TriMet, "Morning Star and her children" are depicted. I am not familiar with Morning Star, but I wonder if the categories "Sculptures of mythology" and/or "Sculptures of women in Oregon" are applicable. ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:23, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
