Article life
[edit]See Talk:Ice rafting#Article history on the beginning of the chain of events which have led me to creation of this article. The more I've been reading books about ocean currents, the more undescribed terms I run into. Laudak (talk) 00:02, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit]I believe that the image is of current ripples, not wave-formed ripples. The current would have been flowing down from the top of the page, perpendicular to the ripples. They are not symmetrical, top to bottom, either that or the lighting is bad. Does anyone have an image of wave-former ripples, or one that illustrates them better? Fixed
[edit]Put a new pic of (certainly) symmetric ripples. Enjoy!
