What is the relationship (if any) between this Waterloo Medal, and the other Waterloo Medal which the Prince Regent also instructed should be issued in 1816, and which was actually designed, struck and issued over the following year or so?
- I'm still researching this. There's no obvious connection other than George probably thought if there was a medal for the soldiers, there should be one for the leaders.--Wehwalt (talk) 23:19, 6 September 2017 (UTC)
- I haven't been able to find anything, but my resources on British numismatics aren't exhaustive. You might want to ask on the Royal Mint website.--Wehwalt (talk) 11:43, 19 September 2017 (UTC)
