Gadlys Falls

[edit]

Gadlys Falls would appear to be this waterfall in the Gadlys estate of Aberdare, on the Afon Dare. The name is not official, and it therefore should probably be excluded from the list, as with all the other waterfalls that do not have official names, but could likewise be referred to by the name of the nearest village.TarquinWJ (talk) 15:59, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have asked for clarification from the contributor who added the name to the page in the first place. The waterfall seems to have an official name, and should not need the alternative one, assuming they relate to the same waterfall. Official name appears to be Pwll-y-Gerwyn - see this other picture that shows its proximity to the Gadlys estate, which appears to be where the "Gadlys Falls" name (which seems to exist only on Wikipedia) came from.TarquinWJ (talk) 19:41, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have made this change accordingly. The original contributor has not provided any further details. If you find that there is another waterfall with the official name of Gadlys Falls, please re-add it with appropriate details. TarquinWJ (talk) 21:59, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
