Early football career
[edit]I played alongside Warwick Capper in 1978 in the Under 15s, with David Rhys-Jones playing in the Under 17s. It wasn't at Oakleigh District Football Club, but at Oakleigh Youth Club Football Club which went on to become Oakleigh Dragons. Oakleigh Districts was located at Princes Highway Reserve in Clayton, whereas OYCFC played out of what is now Jack Edwards Reserve, in Huntingdale. Shortly afterward, they merged with another club and became Oakleigh Dragons, playing out of WA Scammell Reserve on North Road.Piglos (talk) 10:25, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
