A fact from Waldmann disease appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 17 June 2009 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Waldmann disease, a disease that is characterized by dilated lymphatic vessels, is usually diagnosed before the patient is three years old?
The illness is usually caused by lymphatic vessels that were misshaped at birth, causing them to be enlarged.
Does this mean that the vessels are abnormally large at birth or are they contorted, causing a fluid buildup which leads to enlargement? Or perhaps something else. I'm not sure about this wording. --Gimme danger (talk) 06:13, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
