[edit]Because this is still a stub, I hesitate to mention the previous incarnation of WMET as "progressive rock" FM 95.5 in Chicago (which is now WNUA). Should some reference be made on this site to that? --Nufftin 12:49, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
WHMC?
[edit]During the 1960's, WHMC also broadcast on FM... Lots of stations broadcast on FM during the 1960s. Does anyone know what this one has to do with WMET, the subject of this article? Perhaps it's a former callsign of WMET, but nothing in the article confirms this. Scott Johnson 19:58, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
I've lived in the DC area for 50 years. WHMC was never on FM. Somebody might be thinking of WHFS which was FM (back then). Todays WHFS on AM is nothing more that WPGC with new calls.--Phyllis1753 (talk) 15:09, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
