WTF (Software Engineering)

[edit]

Because of too many funny people, this article has been locked for new and unregistered users, hence here... Anyways, WTF stands for Web Template Framework which to my knowledge is also used in Mozilla software. -andy 77.190.24.237 (talk) 16:45, 7 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

To 90% of english speaking people WTF really means what the *&^&. The only reason this page exists is probably so you can finally have a chance to nerd troll people. Congratulations nerd you're still pathetic.

I seriously doubt any other version of "WTF" would be seen as notable otherwise. I'm sure the random things they stand for might still have pages on wiki on their own merit but if the phrase "wtf" wasn't such a popular way of written self expression going to google and typing "wtf" wouldn't be leading to a wiki page and some nerdsgasaming all over the talk page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.30.147.123 (talk) 21:30, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

What about Waking the Fallen by Avenged Sevenfold? 78.43.29.144 (talk) 16:49, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There is no indication whatsoever in the article that this is commonly referred to by the initials. olderwiser 17:01, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please change

[edit]

Please change the first entry, "wtf, language code for Dumpu, a Trans–New Guinean language" to show "wtf, language code for the Watiwa language, a Trans–New Guinean language" instead. Tenkyu tumas. - 108.59.48.1 (talk) 19:51, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

WTF may also refer Waive to Function which is israeli slang for approving functional unit testing on the workplace Killthepuppet (talk) 11:22, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Killthepuppet:  Question: The article Waive to Function does not exist. Is there an article which describes the term? See WP:DABENTRY, the bit that says "Include exactly one navigable (blue) link to efficiently guide readers to the most relevant article for that use of the ambiguous term". --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 12:19, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Not done unless you can provide enough sources to assert notability. -- Alexf(talk) 16:01, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
