Right handed?

[edit]

Do they only couple to right-handed fermions?

Are they a prediction Pati-Salam models? --Michael C. Price talk 07:50, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lisi

[edit]

The theory doesn't actually predict Z' bosons, unless it's given a full mechanism of symmetry breaking that gives mass to the boson and can relate the parameter space of the theory to actual observation. The reference added by previous editor Scientryst is not available freely online for verification, please indicate a verifiable online copy. The statement involving E6 as the "proof" that Lisi's E8 model predicts Z' bosons is not correct, because it would only depend on how the SM algebra is embedded. The Pati-Salam part of the theory expressed in Lisi's papers might actually have a Z', but it's a very silly statement to write on a wikipedia entry until couplings and masses aren't presented by the theory (or at least their range or parameter dependence). 98.244.55.28 (talk) 03:34, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
