Talk:Vision Software
Untitled
[edit]I think there is some confusion regarding Vision Software, there are apparently two, possibly three (or more) companies by that name. That a South African game publisher by the name existed between 1990 and 1995 can be verified by an 1996 Electronic Arts press release, but no sources I can find mention any games they published, and only mention them having offices across Africa, but nothing outside of the continent. On the other hand, the only game releases I can find attributed to Vision Software are Cybernetix, Search & Destroy, Road Kill, 7th Legion and Sirius 7 (developed by Vision and published by different publishers from 1990 to 1997), which were all made by the same New Zealand based team, and two ALF educational games that as far as I can tell were made by an American studio (published in 1988 and 1993, the cover scans available to have a distinctly different logo than the New Zealand based one, and mention a P.O. Address that looks like it is in Florida). I think it's safe to say that we're having to different Vision Software here, but are any of the two with documented games released related to the South African studio by the name, which the wikipage is dedicated to, or were there actually three different Vision Software? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fisk0 (talk • contribs) 01:59, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
