[edit]The translation of the kharoshti script in the image legend translate "Mahishwara" as "name of Shiva".
I think "Mahishwara" here should be translated as "King" or "Lord of the earth" from "Mahi"+"Ishwara". Reference to Shiva is usually done with "Maheshwara" and not "Mahishwara".
But I cannot read Kharoshti. It would be best to get an epigraphist's opinion if the Kharoshti original has an "i" or an "e" syllable.

Considering name
[edit]Was Vima Kadphises considered as Vermaditam Hatami in India? In my town, many people says that Kaniska's predecesor was Vermaditam Kharavela Deva (talk) 15:02, 14 June 2024 (UTC)
