Need Sourcing
[edit]I agree. How do we remedy this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.109.211.51 (talk) 21:35, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
There is little reliable sourcing here. Amberlights (talk) 05:06, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
Filipino or Filipina
[edit]Should it be "Filipino American" or "Filipina American"? Badagnani (talk) 19:21, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Ethnicity?
[edit]Why is "Jewish Father" listed under the Ethnicity heading? I have no problem posting his religion, but shouldn't the national origin, or (well, the actual ethnicity) be posted here?
- Jewish are an ethnoreligious group (hence that is why Woody Allen, an athiest, is Jewish; or Albert Einstein, a cosmologist, is also Jewish). Generally on wiki we would use Judaism to designate religion if we have evidence that that is their religion.Patapsco913 (talk) 16:54, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
Why is this article here?
[edit]Why is this article even here? She's a run-of-the-mill news anchor on a UHF station in San Francisco. If that's all it takes to get into Wikipedia then there should be thousands of such bios. She's of no historical or cultural importance. And there's no sourcing for any of this because no doubt she wrote it herself. I vote that it should be removed.

Son baptized in a Baptist manner?
[edit]Her son Hartley Eric (biological father unknown) was fully immersed and dipped in a tub of holy water three times, according to this article dated 28 September 2013. Baptism by triple immersion is for Baptists only, isn't it? Veronica and whoever fathered Hartley aren't Baptists, are they? Makes me wonder why his baptism was done in that manner. Triple immersion symbolizes the Trinity? Anyone there, explain this. Santiago Claudio (talk) 12:00, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
Year of birth cannot be correct.
[edit]Everyone, including her, acknowledges that her late brother was younger than she was (https://www.facebook.com/VeronicaDeLaCruzTV/photos/a.261094973927041/2169106683125851/ https://www.instagram.com/p/BF6gMD1MR4C/). He passed away in 2009 at age 31. (https://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/01/health/01well.html) Therefore he had to have been born in 1977 or 1978. This means it is not possible that SHE was born in 1980 as she claims. I seem to recall she was approximately 5 years older than her brother. She was born around 1974 and CANNOT have been born in 1980. 136.24.126.194 (talk) 07:07, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
