Infobox
[edit]{{helpme}} There went something wrong with editing, the box with information about the song doesn't work. Can someone help me?

- User:John of Reading, hi, any idea what is the status on last year's proposal to add a LANGUAGE field to the song infobox? (albeit this appears to be a single infobox). In ictu oculi (talk) 08:27, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
- @In ictu oculi: Looking around, there's discussion at Template talk:Infobox single#Language field not added and Template talk:Infobox single/Archive 7#Language field. It looks as if some of the details were not resolved. There are no discussions about a language parameter at Template talk:Infobox song or its archives. -- John of Reading (talk) 08:59, 22 April 2014 (UTC)

Valged Ööd → Valged ööd – No capitalization in (song)titles written in Estonian. Ahsoous (talk) 02:06, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
- Comment - I have added ("White Nights") into the lead. Isn't there any guidance which encourages editors to explain obscure phrases in song and book titles? This isn't Je t'aime. In ictu oculi (talk) 08:23, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose per MOS:CT. We should use English-language capitalization on the English Wikipedia. iTunes does likewise. --BDD (talk) 17:50, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
- Support per MOS:CT which deliberately doesn't mention Estonian- French- song names. We should follow quality sources which use relevant-language capitalization, and we don't follow unreliable commercial sources like iTunes. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:35, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
- That's an interesting interpretation. I would think if the page deliberately doesn't mention those languages, the logical conclusion is that they don't receive special treatment. --BDD (talk) 16:10, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
- Support. The English "every single not-completely-trivial word must be capitalised" title case doesn't exist in Estonian. Looking at the Estonian Top 40 page, every single Estonian-language song name only capitalises the starting letter and proper names. JIP | Talk 14:48, 25 April 2014 (UTC)
