Death date
[edit]Where does 11 November 1548 come from? Assuming that the death date given in the King Yotfa article (10 June 1548) is correct--which may not be; see the talk page at Yotfa--and that Worawongsathirat ruled only for 42 days, then Worawongsathirat must have died on 22 July 1548.
There's a larger issue. I'm not sure that any of the dates are reliable! Per (Harvey 1925: 343), the Luang Prasert chronicle--which is considered more accurate than other Siamese chronicles--says Worawongsathirat's successor Maha Chakkraphat came to power in 1547. Other Siamese chronicles say Maha Chakkraphat came to power in 1529. Luang Prasert's date of 1547 is inline with when the Burmese chronicles say the first invasion took place, and kings Yotfa and Worawongsathirat were already dead in 1547. Anyway, we need a reliable source re: 11 November 1548. Hybernator (talk) 18:06, 31 December 2016 (UTC)
