Gasoline or Diesel

[edit]

Hey, I've always known the Ural-375 to be powered by a gasoline engine, but I heard that the Ural-375D may be diesel-powered. Is this true? Sgt. Bond 23:28, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, it's not true. All Ural-375 versions, including the Ural-375D, have gasoline-powered (carburetor) engines, the article is correct about that.
So the D doesn't stand for diesel, I guess that's what caused the confusion.
In the mid-seventies the truck was further developed into the Ural-4320, which is equipped with a diesel engine. Sometimes the 4320 is described as the diesel version of the 375, but that overlooks the numerous other developments and improvements. Jahoe (talk) 12:02, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ural-357D and Ural-375D

[edit]

I have seen in many sources a model called Ural-357D. Is there a such vehicle or is it just an error? --Gwafton (talk) 20:41, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is just an error. It was Ural-375, Ural-377, Ural-375 D, Ural 4320 but never was an Ural-357 D. Neverguesswhathappened (talk) 06:11, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Past-Current users

[edit]

The tab 'past users' names East Germany as a past user, stating passed to succesor states. The tab current users nor past users doesn't mention Germany. 2001:818:DC37:6600:C0C0:7588:D4C2:38A1 (talk) 17:33, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
