Clean up tag

[edit]

I propose that a clean-up tag be added to this article. The format is all wrong for a Wikipedia article, half of it is lifted from the university's website, and it doesn't even have any real current information about the university (number of faculty and students, current administrator, etc.) Because the tag has been removed twice, I thought I'd list here what some of the problems are. The tag is not a stigma; it merely points out to others that the article has problems so that those who know how can fix it proper. Paxsimius (talk) 03:01, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nomenclature

[edit]

I doesn't understand, why there is a section called nomenclature for the English translation of the official arabic name. The arabic name is unique and there is no need for an "official" translation in every other language, like English. -Arch2all (talk) 19:40, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Possible copy-paste

[edit]

Hi all!

I started trying to find sources for some of the unsourced material on this page and noticed that a large portion of the history section seems copy-pasted from http://www.iitb.ac.in/alumni/en/newsletter-article/2018-04/memorandum-understanding-university-baghdad. I haven't yet been able to tell whether this is the case, or whether that page took its information directly from Wikipedia. I will keep trying to find sources for this article but would appreciate anyone's help! Thanks.
