Make Interstate 42 it’s own article.
[edit]Currently, Interstate 42 only has a section of it in US 70 in NC, even through it should be it’s own article. Qutlook (talk) 16:27, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
- The issue is the fact that I-42 is currently not routed, plus there is very little information to add that would validate it having its own article at this time. --WashuOtaku (talk) 16:48, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
I get what you mean, but I-73 in Virginia is unsigned but has an Article https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstate_73_in_Virginia (On Mobile when I see this) Qutlook (talk) 02:02, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
Move discussion in progress
[edit]There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:U.S. Route 70 Bypass (Goldsboro, North Carolina) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 19:35, 20 March 2022 (UTC)
Merge proposal
[edit]With the creation of this article upon the formal signing of I-42 along the Clayton and Goldsboro bypasses, I think it's finally time to merge the U.S. Route 70 Bypass (Goldsboro, North Carolina) article into this one. The Goldsboro Bypass is an intrinsic part of I-42, and its history should really be considered a natural part of I-42's historical lineage. OrdinaryScarlett (talk) 12:44, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
- I agree, and we should also rename it to Interstate 42 in North Carolina, because there may be two I42’s in the future Xuppu (talk) 02:40, 21 September 2024 (UTC)
