Video about live on board (1952)

[edit]

I found a video about live onboard in 1952 - apparently they had more crew than originally planed so it was cramped. Not sure if this can or should be fitted into the article but since english isn't my first language I'd leave it for others to decide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSc8EjhvUU JustBen81 (talk) 12:42, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That video was not available when I clicked on it. If the video meets the requirements of WP:YOUTUBE, and, per item number 1 at WP:ELNO, it provides "a unique resource beyond what the article would contain if it became a featured article", it could be placed in External links. - Donald Albury 13:45, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I butcherd the link and cut of the last character, let's try that again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSc8EjhvUU0. I think the information is unique - but the question remains how relevant it is. - JustBen81 (talk) 11:38, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
CriticalPast states that the clips it hosts are licensed royalty-free. I suspect that the film was produced by the US Navy, and probably has always been in the public domain, although I can't prove that. While the film shows living conditions on a US destroyer in the early 1950s, it doesn't really add anything specifically about the Saufley. If the link is acceptable under WP policies, then I think the External links section of Destroyer might be a more appropriate place for it. - Donald Albury 18:28, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
