O.K., you silly asses, don't revert the edits that I have made, such as in "It will be crewed by 124 civil service mariners and, at times, will include an additional compliment," because this ship is already at sea, she already has a crew, and the future tense "will be" is totally inappropriate.
She already has a crew, already has gone on her maiden voyage, and already has visited the shoreline of Howland Island for a wreath-laying ceremony in membrance of Earhart and Noonan!! 98.67.105.158 (talk) 03:47, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
- Don't you mention "military" people as part of her crew. The part of her crew who aren't civilians are naval personnel or "sailors". This distinction is even expressed in the United States Constitution, which mentions military and naval laws and regulations. The "military" part of our Armed Forces consists of members of the Army, the Air Force, the National Guard, and their reserves. The rest of our Armed Forces consists of "sailors" and "Marines". Not keeping these distinctions straight is plainly stupid!
