The flight from Sweden to Italy and back.
[edit]The backstage story of the SAAB - italian car commodity is that SAAB handed over the designs for its cancelled light attack jetplane project to Italy, which eventually reached manufacture as the AMX aircraft. In turn Italy paid SAAB with a ready to make car design and tooling, that really made profit. Both parties were happy with the balance of business. (At that time Sweden's SAAB AB was a unitary company, comprising both aviation and road-mobile business interests and only split up years later.) 82.131.210.163 (talk) 19:57, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

unclear meaning of doors
[edit]Because they were very similar, many parts can be exchanged between the four cars regardless of brand. For example, the doors from the Fiat Croma fit directly on the 9000. However, because Saab fitted heavier side impact protection they will not fit.
I find this rather confusing. Would the Fiat doors fit into a SAAB or would it not fit. Or is the intended meaning a FIAT door fit into a SAAB, but a SAAB door does not fit into a FIAT? I kind of assume the later, but it is not 100% clear from the sentences. Sijambo (talk) 21:21, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
