Turkish Revisionism and History fabrications
[edit]Why should we as Libyans accept the new 2019, 2020, History revisionism being forced on us by turkish trolls
[edit]Suddenly, in years 2019, and 2020, the entirety of Libya is, Turkish. According to Turks. Stop fabricating and revising Libyan history, and do NOT even try to claim that Turkish population is any more larger than Ethnic berber. YOU WILL NOT usurp 10,000 years of History.
Suddenly, a Ghost army of 1,400,000 Turks appeared out of nowhere because Erdoghan said so, and because BBC arabic stated so. How about, No. Biomax20 (talk) 22:53, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
DNA research proves majority populations are Phoenician, Arab, North African, African, Along with European, and least of All turkish or "Anatolian".

- You cannot just remove numerous sources because of your own personal views. There are Turkish, English, Arabic, and Italian sources being used here. If the number is truly 250,000 - as you suggest - then provide the sources. O.celebi (talk) 11:28, 10 June 2020 (UTC)
- Do you even read the sources you cite? Al Monitor, for instance, says
A member of the Libya Koroglu Association, told Al-Monitor Koroglus number some 1.4 million and are concentrated especially in Misrata, where they make up three-fourths of the city’s population. The figures appear inflated, requiring scientific verification.
[1]. You absolutely cannot use this source to claim "1.4 Million Turks" in Libya. Khirurg (talk) 02:09, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
- Do you even read the sources you cite? Al Monitor, for instance, says
@O.celebi ":::Do you even read the sources you cite?" Yes i do, I also read Italian. None of the sources provided show any evidence regarding any such claim. BBC isnt a valid source, Nor is a Arabic or Turkish newspaper. We are discussing Libyan identity. DNA studies completely refute the claim. "A member of the Libya Koroglu Association" can say anything they want, but will have to provide solid evidence for such a blatant claim. I am also a Libyan, My family did DNA sample, i know my origins, and i completely refute this baseless claim. Bring a valid source, such as another independent DNA study to re-confirm this outrageous claim before slapping some ludicrous number on the "population" of Libyans to be "Turkish" to fit your recent military agenda's within Tripoli, Libya. Provide solid evidence, otherwise this is an attempt to revise, fabricate, and backup political claims made by Erdogan's administration as justification to occupy Tripoli. - Hi there, I'm the one who wrote that, not O.celebi, and in fact I was addressing myself to O.celebi. I completely agree with you regarding this dispute. Khirurg (talk) 22:29, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
With all due respect, some of us are actually Libyan. Please stop making us all Turkish.
I'm posting this as a COI. My name is Logeain Mansour Elkikhia. My grandfather was Omar Pasha Mansour Elkikhia (first president of the Libyan senate). My father is Dr. Omar Mansour Elkikhia (former ambassador to Argentina). My first cousin once removed was the martyred Mansour Rashid Elkikhia (Former Libyan Foreign Minister and permanent Ambassador to the UN). My first cousin once removed is Mohammed Mansour Elkikhia (Former member of the Libyan Transitional Council). All aforementioned family members are/were politically and significantly active in Libyan politics. All have Wikipedia citations or individual pages. All have been erroneously listed as "of Turkish decent."
If my Grandfather was of Turkish decent my DNA test would show even a small percentage of Turkish or Anatolian blood, but it does not. In fact, it shows absolutely zero Turkish or Anatolian blood. The following are excerpts from my DNA test:

In fact before adopting the Elkikhia name our family, well known members of the Misrati tribe used the name Al Adgham. We have lived in Benghazi for hundreds of years.
For over a year a floating IP from Essex, UK has been aggressively updating the "Turks in Libya" page as well as the individual pages of numerous prestigious old Libyan families with a clear agenda to make us all Turkish. My family has nothing against Turkey. It’s a beautiful country with a fascinating and rich history, but we simply are NOT Turkish. We're proud of our own Libyan heritage and the idea that certain Turkish individuals are attempting to create a stronger claim towards Turkish intervention in Libya by fabricating a different heritage for us all is not only worrying it’s frustrating. I'm requesting that you please remove the false claims against my family and semi-protect the "Turks in Libya" page so that the aggressive pro-Turkish editors cease and desist in their efforts to push and promote a false history.
Please remove the sections of this page that cite my family members are Turkish. They are clearly erroneous.
Thank you.Logeainkikhia (talk) 13:08, 25 July 2020 (UTC)
