Noting lack of historical images
[edit]I know the intereior is gone now but what if it was photographed in the past? Is the needs-image tag only a request to take new photos? Or does it include searching archives for previously unidentified photos? A while back I checked the UW Archives and some others, but that doesn't mean photos won't turn up in the future. For example there's a trove of Ballard Locks photos that aren't digitized or online yet. If more old photos of the interior of the Troy building become available in the future, we might not even search for them if we haven't tagged the article as needing images.
Do we need a separate tag for present-day photography requests and archive searches? --Dennis Bratland (talk) 04:02, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
