Arjuna's tristubhs
[edit]Apart from the "Vedic" character of tristubhs, there is also the Vedic association of tristubhs with the Kshatriya class, just as gayatri is associated with Brahmans and jagati with the Vish. This 8/11/12 numerology is found quite often in Vedic texts. E.g. in the Dharmasutras, 8/11/12 repectively are the recommended ages for Brahman, Kshatriya and Vaishya boys to have their Upanayana ceremony, etc. rudra (talk) 07:24, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
