Find correct name
The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

Some sources say departure from Lisbon was on November 27. Others say November 29. What is the source of the discrepancy? And which one is it? Please provide source. 78.100.28.192 (talk) 21:06, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The article uses both John and João, and it's not clear why; similarly, Prince John and Dom João. Could/should this not be standardised, to avoid confusion? On a related but different point, it also refers to him as John VI and 'King' already when he ruled as Prince Regent and there in fact was no king (AFAIK). I've placed clarify tags to flag up these issues, hoping that someone in the know can correct and/or comment. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:46, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
