Move?
[edit]We briefly discussed in the AfD moving this to Track Warrant Control, enabling editors to broaden the article by having it about the system rather than the form of instruction. This would reverse the current situation where Track Warrant Control redirects to Track warrant, so that Track warrant would remain as a redirect to Track Warrant Control. I don't think this is controversial, but I will wait a few days to allow for any objections or discussion. Thanks! Jack N. Stock (talk) 21:24, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
- I'm fine with the rename. As I said in the AfD, my primary goal here is to get a properly referenced article. If moving it to a different name helps get us there, I'm all for it. -- RoySmith (talk) 21:33, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
- The article is already about both the warrants and their use. If you see the signaling related link box at the bottom, Track Warrant is under Block System. In that context both Track Warrant and Track Warrant Control both work equally well. Going by the rulebooks Track Warrant Control (or TWC) would probably be the more correct term.Sturmovik (talk) 15:17, 14 December 2018 (UTC)
