– No clear primary topic, the given name has 355 views but the TV series has 4,643, the place in Sweden has 77, the place in Scotland has 41 and the volcano has 24. Gökhan Töre has 1,899 and Elihan Tore has 442.[[1]]. Most Google results are for the TV series and dictionary definition, Images and Books seem unclear but don't appear to return much for the given name. The TV series is recent but given the places and surname the given name doesn't appear to be clearly primary by long-term significance. Crouch, Swale (talk) 20:01, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

- https://wikinav.toolforge.org/?language=en&title=Tore says there were 213 identified clickstreams to the hatnote out of a total traffic of 809, which is certainly out of the ordinary, and https://wikinav.toolforge.org/?language=en&title=Tore_%28disambiguation%29 couldn't identify anything other than people going back to the name article - the TV series article had not been written yet, it only appeared in November. I wouldn't consider a 3-month-old TV series to be have instant long-term significance over such a common name from the same region, that's just WP:Recentism. The surname seems to be distinguished by the umlauts, as Elihan Tore is also referred to with the umlaut in the article Second East Turkestan Republic; so this might require moving that article and Töre instead, and ideally we do it only based on a proper understanding that it's a surname and not a patronymic or something like that. I don't think we should be making determinations of primary topic based on statistics from the most recent 20 days of views, how about looking at the all-time stats instead? Like mass views for Tore and mass views for Tore (disambiguation) and page views for the top items I was thinking to oppose just out of principle, but whatever, let's use this as a learning opportunity for the umpteenth time. --Joy (talk) 09:37, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
