Move

[edit]

Wikipedia:Naming conventions (use English) suggests using English titles where one exists, and the name Death and Transfiguration is a commonly-used translation. Until recently, the guidelines for Wikipedia:WikiProject Classical music said never to translate titles, but this restriction has been removed. I believe it would be more consistent with Wikipedia policy to use the English name. —Heimstern Läufer 07:51, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You have my vote. There are some grey areas (things like Haydn's Clock Symphony) but this seems to me to be a clearcut case. --GuillaumeTell 11:01, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Support per policy and common sense. CalJW 14:51, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Recordings

[edit]

The recordings list states that the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra recorded the piece in the 1920s, but that orchestra was not founded until 1946. These could do with sources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.42.48.90 (talk) 21:40, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
