Expansion to include longer periods before and after the attacks

Would it be a good idea to expand the scope of this article to include the various processes before and after the attacks themselves? I'm particularly aiming at the pre-trial period, and the trial when we get to that. Obviously it wouldn't be the same article if we do that, so I'm asking users to see my proposal with an open-minded perspective. __meco (talk) 17:47, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
