Moved twice and then apparently moved back—why?
[edit]Recent and concerned editors: @Graywalls, Certes, Valjean, Websurfer2, Geohem, R'n'B, Mandarax, and BullRangifer: Greetings and felicitations. Twice this article has been moved to "Timeline of Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections (July 2016 – election day)" (1, 2—or at least that's what the edit summaries say), which is correct per MOS:DATERANGE, but apparently it has been moved back twice. Why? —DocWatson42 (talk) 09:16, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- I agree that the spaced version is correct according to the MOS. I have no idea why it was moved to the unspaced one. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 17:53, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- Then make sure all the related articles are also moved to the correct format. -- Valjean (talk) 18:19, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Mandarax and Valjean: So I should put in a move request, referencing the MOS and this section? —DocWatson42 (talk) 10:32, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- That sounds like a good idea. Then the appropriate format will be discussed. When a consensus interpretation of the MoS guidelines is reach, then make sure all the related articles are moved to the right formats. -- Valjean (talk) 16:22, 31 December 2020 (UTC)

Robbie Mook, Clinton Camping Late Oct 2016
[edit]Fire up the editor machine, this page needs an entry for Robbie Mook and the clinton campaign act of late Oct
Robbie Mook - Robert E. Mook (/mʊk/; born December 3, 1979) is an American political strategist. He was the campaign manager for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign. Late Oct 2016 he brought the Alpha-Bank Trump Organization Back Channel Communication Theory to Hilleary Clinton for approval for final release to Slate Magazine.
During testimony given in cross-examination of the trial of Michael ussmann, Robby Mook, testified on Friday that the 2016 , Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee agreed to provide information about a link between her opponent Donald Trump and Russian Alfa Bank to a reporter, despite the fact that her campaign was not certain about the truth of the allegations.

- What does this have to do with Russian interference in the 2016 election? It sounds like politicians doing politics to me. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:01, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
- Loopbackdude, any insinuation that anyone associated with the Clinton campaign was involved with the Russians in their election interference is a serious BLP violation. On the contrary, they found what might have been one more, and very logical, illicit part of the proven secretive and open cooperation between the Russians and Trump campaign. Keep in mind that Kushner secretly sought to create a backchannel between the campaign and Russian intelligence that could not be monitored by U.S. intelligence. Even Kislyak was shocked by that move, and it was very embarrassing when that became public.
- So the only relevance of this info is the (as yet unproven) suspicion that this connection was yet another sinister part of the proven collusion (not the same as "conspiracy") between Trump’s campaign and Russia. See Links between Trump associates and Russian officials for a small part of it.
- This sets the stage:
- "Perhaps more significantly, the description of the FBI’s handling of the Alfa Bank tip allowed Sussmann’s attorneys to remind the jury about the significant alarm within the bureau about connections between the Trump campaign and Russia, which were the subject of FBI and special counsel investigations for nearly three years."[1]

There are still unanswered questions. It wasn't typical spam marketing. -- Valjean (talk) (PING me) 23:47, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
- Lot of analysis there that you personally have warned loopback against. None of this is my suggested edit, I am putting this on the radar for a timeline add supported. as useful and known date of media push by one of the campaigns. The Alpha bank channel was quickly disproven by the FBI per day 7 testimony of the susman trial. Once someone bothers to cover the trial in the typical places more will be presented.

- If you want to disagree with the FBI conclusion of communications channel 2016....that is on you, but the data was clear that this was over a throw away marketing domain for the trump org. The media and DNC experts can talk themselves into a lot 6 years later in hindsight. The technical analysis by the chicago office was a nothing burger before the election. Those were the facts per the FBI experts on election day. Loopbackdude (talk) 18:13, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
