Has anyone got a source for the infamous ice cream fight that killed their career? They were on a BBC Radio 1 tour to promote It's About Time You Were Mine and started getting lairy with a Radio 1 exec, with one of them smooshing a dollop of ice cream on his nose to prove her point. The exec in question retaliated with a wholw handful of ice cream splat in her face. Not being big on taking slapstick pranks in good humour, all the girls walked out of the tour in miffed humiliation right then and there, causing promotion of the single to be pulled, hence the subsequent flop and cancellation of the album. This anecdote has been trotted out a few times on Radio 1 (mainly on Chris Moyles' show) - and deserves a mention in their history if a source can be found. 62.190.148.115 (talk) 13:43, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
