Thomas Broughton (acting governor) → Thomas Broughton (South Carolina politician) – or Thomas Broughton (colonial official) or Thomas Broughton (colonial politician). The current disambiguator seems overly role-specific and is the only use of "(acting governor)" on Wikipedia. He was English, but his notability was as a colonial government official in South Carolina. — BarrelProof (talk) 04:33, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
Support Either South Carolina politician or colonial official would be fine. Thanks for doing this RM, acting governor definitely doesn’t sound right. Kind regards, Robertus Pius (Talk • Contribs) 19:13, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
