Strikingly prophetic?
[edit]The quotation, in the lead, which states that "The Wreckers" (of 1906) was "prophetic" of the dramatic construction of Britten's "Peter Grimes" (1945) is perfectly absurd. Dame Ethel was not having intuitions of an opera waiting to be written 40 years later: she was constructing her own opera, which had been in existence for 40 years when Britten got round to writing his. No prophesy was involved. I do not deny that it is correctly quoted, but it is a silly quotation. Eebahgum (talk) 22:13, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
Agreed. Why not rewrite the lead? 2604:2000:F64D:FC00:BCFC:73A7:D471:4E25 (talk) 15:59, 10 February 2019 (UTC)
