The comments deleted were advertisements, devoid of the facts, including such as "it led a nationwide spark to open air markets", "it was the first official lifestyle center (what's that again?)", and "it is the most profitable store per square foot in the South". Advertisements are contradictory to wikipedia law. Thanks.

First lifestyle center
[edit]- There have been claims that "The Summit" was the first of the modern breed of lifestyle centers. That claim does not appear to be justified.
