Warranties, Stock #, Website

I removed these sections from the article. I don't think that it is really encyclopedia material, I have not seen this sort of info on other retail store articles, and it all seems a bit unnecessary and pointless...if anyone disagrees they can give some reasons on this page and we'll discuss it but i think that for the time being, the info should come down..--BoyoJonesJr 15:38, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

I did believe it contributed that something MORE that I read was preferred in Wikipedia. I am infact biased because I am working for the company at present, but it seemed like at least useful information. So we're left with a question. What exactly is encyclopedic? So then I go read encyclopedia and get confused and give up. Sigh. It's rare instances like like this I like mathematics, heck even boolean, it's either true or false. Help me here, BoyoJonesJr, I was proud of that information I contributed. I thought it was extremely useful for people seeking information on the company, being inside I know what questions are asked very often. Now I'm in pain that the words I was carefully choosing are believed to be inappropriate. Nastajus 04:01, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
Well, my thought on the information was that it seems like the kind of insider info that most people would not likely be interested in or perhaps even understand. I can see your point about what exactly constitutes an encyclopedia but when you consider most other retail articles (ie.. Best Buy) there is little to no mention of inventory info and what not (although warranty is there).. but i don't know. I guess it was a bit hasty of me to remove the info. You can put the stuff back on if you wish... maybe if it was organized in a slightly different way... perhaps put the info into its own section (named Inventory or something) with warranty /stock# /website as sub sections...maybe? Thanks for the comments though..(By the way, I think that my edits to the internal products section are a bit clearer however)--BoyoJonesJr 15:47, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
If it was completely useless information I'd agree it should be deleted on sight. But that seven digit part, that's a hard to find short piece of information that makes shopping there alot easier. I however do think I got carried away with the 200 search results, who cares about that limit. I'll restore an abbreviated version then, later. And, I like the bullets! Title

Why is the title "The Source by Circuit City"? The "by Circuit City" part doesn't sound like title material to me. Random the Scrambled (?)(Vandalism and other nonsense!) 15:53, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

Actually, the stores' legal name is "The Source by Circuit City". It's because "The Source" was already a registered trademark. I work for them, and when I answer the phone, I am instructed to say "Source by Circuit City" rather than just "The Source". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.15.6.253 (talk) 02:47, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Why isn't the title "The Source by Circuit City"? "The Source" is a skater shop, and doesn't sell any kind of electronics, it's a Canadian store that sells Skater paraphernalia such as skateboards, skater cloths, skate shoes, snowboards, and stuff like that, while "The Source by Circuit City" is an electronics store. --70.73.130.40 (talk) 15:13, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Comerical

I know this is completly unrelated but does anyone know what song is playing in the 2006 commerical by them? I can't find the title anywhere —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.187.32.7 (talk) 21:12, 10 December 2006 (UTC).

I just removed some link spam that had been present since 13:01, 26 December 2005. Yes, it has been present for more than 1 year. Robert Brockway 16:32, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

monster and skullcandy

The line "including the new Monster and Skullcandy headphone line-up" should be changed or removed. It sounds too much like advertisement and it's a bit self-outdating anyway. 96.18.238.19 (talk) 17:35, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
