Could This Be the Source For Jack Kirby's THE FOREVER PEOPLE?

[edit]

I remembered reading an article in TV GUIDE about classic 70s television shows and they described this show as "a group of hippy kids get stranded on a tropical island with an adult mentor and deal with social issues." As soon as I read that, I immediately thought of THE FOREVER PEOPLE and The Infinity Man. From what we know of Kirby's career in general and especially in his Post-Fantastic Four work, is that Jack would get a plot germ from elsewhere and then rebuild\improve upon it-- especially old movies and television shows. There we have the "group of hippies and the adult mentor" and what happened to the Forever People in the end? Yep, they were stranded in another dimension on a tropical planet! We should compare the release dates of the two concepts. (User talk:MARK VENTURE) 17:33, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How 'bout some pics?

[edit]

I think it would improve the entry/article if there were a couple of pictures included.

Like one of a "title card" of the series and one of the cover of the book.

Just an idea. 2600:8800:786:A300:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 22:40, 14 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
