The Films (band) → The Films – There is no reason for disambiguation. The Films is currently protected from creation due to multiple speedy deletions from pre-2009, but the article now is sourced and notability has been established. —Akrabbim^talk 13:27, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I could name many counter-examples following "The Noun[s]" format (The Doors, The Killers, The Band, The Prodigy, and so on). All over the site we disambiguate between things like Door and The Doors, without the need of a parenthetical.
