I think the article should be moved from The Comancheros to The Comancheros (film), in line with Wikipedia protocol. That would allow The Comancheros to redirect to the Comanchero (disambiguation) page.--Lester 05:00, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Has anyone actually seen this film? According to the synopsis, it is set in 1843, but the leader of a gang in the film is an ex-Confederate officer. I'm guessing the film is set after the Civil War. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.55.6.146 (talk) 19:38, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I found that bit rather confusing myself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.41.40.24 (talk) 20:52, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The timeline isn't the only thing out of whack in this film. John Wayne kills Lee Marvin not a moment too soon to keep him from running away with the picture! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.215.115.31 (talk) 21:10, 2 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
