Page name

I couldn't edit the page name. Please guide me to edit it or help change it if I don't have enough privileges.

The page name has Alatau whereas within the article body it goes like Ala-Too. Ala-Too would be the correct page name because it is the correct one in Kyrgyz language and I know it as a native speaker. Wikestod (talk) 08:52, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ala-Too isn't the correct form. Like the sources provide, it's Alatoo. If you use Alatoo, though, it should be Teskey and not Terskey. Teskey Alatoo or Terskey Alatau. Terskey Alatau is far more common in English but maybe there's a policy somewhere to try to use Kyrgyz forms of Kyrgyz places instead of applying WP:COMMON WP:ENGLISHNAMEs. — LlywelynII 01:17, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
