Cleanup
[edit]This article was original research that a new user submitted, but I have spent about half an hour cleaning it up so that hopefully it can be used.
We might still want to add a photo or two. Clipart is fine.
Also, do any of you find that the article is now somewhat boring and just a list of facts?

Mobile Equipment - Is Research In Motion (RIM) considered a foreign equipment provider in China for mobile phones?
One billion mobile phones by 2020
[edit]One billion Chinese people, or around 80 per cent of the country's population, may use cell phones by the year 2020, making China the world's No 1 market, director of the China Centre for Economic Research of Peking University, Lin Yifuthink-tank has forecast.
3rd paragraph
[edit]The paragraph starting "In 2005, China’s Ministry of Information Industry (MII), the most imp..." seems a little outdated in its wording. As in the "MII expects ... 2005", shouldn't this be in the past tense? Shouldn't the whole paragraph that I mention be in the past tense since it relates to 2005. I'm not sure if this paragraph should exist in the main introduction to the article. A great deal has happened in the last 3-4 yrs and this information is most certainly outdated and maybe even uninformative. Wushu 1984 19:30, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
