Team pursuit in Speed Skating
[edit]Team pursuit in Speed Skating currently links to this article. Would like to know if a seperate article should be made describing team pursuit in speed skating or if it should be expanded upon here. 24.84.218.226 (talk) 09:31, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
- The article originally contained some information about speed skating, but that was moved to Long track speed skating#Team Pursuit.
- I suggest we leave that as it is, but change the link and put a notice on top of this page for anyone looked for information on the speed skating variant. However, if you want to write a longer article, feel free to. Sam Vimes 10:05, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
- The cycling stuff could actually be merged with Individual pursuit at say Pursuit (cycling) as there's a lot of overlap between the two. SeveroTC 11:06, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
Differences between men's and women's event
[edit]Recommend the article clarify if the women's event also relies on the position of the third rider to determine the winning team. If so, the sentence that includes the phrase "it is common for one rider to take a death pull" probably only applies to the men's event, and should so state. I do not have a reference to clarify this myself. Atticusfinch80 (talk) 05:03, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
