Requested move
[edit]Tallahassee metropolitan area → Tallahassee, Florida metropolitan area – Add state to form standard title. Buaidh 14:27, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose per Pensacola metropolitan area and others. As there are no other articles on metropolitan areas for other cities named "Tallahassee", "Florida" is unnecessary for disambiguation. There is no policy or style requirement for the proposed form; the current form is plenty common: Miami metropolitan area, Jacksonville metropolitan area, Louisville metropolitan area, Albuquerque metropolitan area, etc. "Tallahassee metropolitan area" appears to be substantially more common in the sources, returning 543 hits on Google Books compared to only 4 for "Tallahassee, Florida metropolitan area".--Cúchullain t/c 13:04, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
Clarification: The preferred article title for metropolitan areas is the article title of the principal city with the lower-case words " metropolitan area" appended. Please see the List of metropolitan areas of the United States. Yours aye, Buaidh 17:51, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
