Talk:Taito Legends 2
Untitled
[edit]Sucks to hear about the split across platforms. I notice some pages list the US version as "TBA 2006." I wonder if they'll give US gamers the "missing" games of the Euro PC version? Not exactly fair to them, but I'll be missing those games! Sorry to rant...
Taito Legends 2 will be distributed by Destineer.
[edit]It's now official.
missing games
[edit]The missing games are Chase HQ and Slap Fight —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.47.140.30 (talk) 16:42, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
Factual Inaccuracies?
[edit]I added a {{disputed}}
tag to this article because both the list of unlockable games and the Copy Protection section seem to be inaccurate. Unlockable games: I see a lot of rumors that at least some of the games in this list can be unlocked, but nobody appears to have specified which platform these exist on (it's certainly not the PC version) or to have even confirmed that they really do exist at all. We need someone to confirm via a reliable source that they can be unlocked, and to specify which release allows a player to unlock them. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 19:23, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
Copy Protection in question
[edit]The Copy Protection section right now says that the PC version of the game uses StarForce copy protection and will not run in Windows Vista or 7 without updating StarForce drivers. I wanted to call this into question because:
- I purchased an original copy of this software (not a bootleg, near as I can tell), installed it and was able to run it just fine on a Win7 machine without having to update anything; and
- I do not have ANYTHING on my computer named "StarForce" that is related to copy-protection;
Could we get a source for this info, especially one that talks about why I might not have run into any issues? — KieferSkunk (talk) — 20:42, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
- BTW, I'm aware of what StarForce is and how it installs itself as a hidden driver - I simply do not have it on my machine after installing Taito Legends 2, so this copy didn't come with it or for some reason didn't do anything with it. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 19:41, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
Unlockable games
[edit]Removing these list from both entries. Neither volume has any unlockable games. Things like Arkanoid and Chase HQ aren't present in these two collections. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.242.2.150 (talk) 19:13, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
